In between the ghouls, goblins, and other things that go bump in the night, these 3 campaigns managed to grab our attention:

My Non-New Year's Resolutions

Happy Non-New Year everyone!

It might be because the Jewish New Year just passed. It might be because I just signed a lease on my apartment for another year. It might be because my birthday was last month. It might be because I'm just bored. Regardless of the reason, sometimes you just feel like you need to make some changes. Typically, people make resolutions heading into the new year with the belief that this is their year and this year, BIG things will happen. Well, I think that's BS. Most people make New Year's Resolutions and never stick to them. The reason? They're not motivated. We all have things we'd like to change about ourselves, so the concept of resolutions makes sense, but I truly believe that if you're going to make resolutions, the only way you're ever going to work at it is if there's something in your gut telling you that change is necessary. So, for whatever reason, something inside of me is telling me that I can be better, and I don't have to wait until January 1st to prove it.

Help Me Make Strides Against Breast Cancer!

For those of you who don't know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This Sunday, I am walking with the Likeable Media Team at the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in Central Park.

I'm a big believer in social good. We have this whole new channel of communication, a whole new way to reach out to and engage with the masses: if given the opportunity, why wouldn't you use it to contribute to the world? Why wouldn't you use social media to make positive changes? All it takes is a few clicks.

Well, I'm gonna give it a shot. I know it's a little last minute, but if you're able to donate anything to this important cause, I, along with the Likeable Media Team and the American Cancer Society, would be incredibly appreciative. Even if you're not able to donate, just spreading the word, sharing with your friends, and utilizing the power of social good goes a long way.

If you're interested, you can make a donation by clicking this link. Thanks in advance!
